    VT student, Lane, killed in shooting to be honored at game

    Jarrett Lane, a VT student who was killed in the shooting that occurred back in April, will have his number retired in the Narrows-James Monroe football game (in the pre-game ceremony) on Friday, August 24. Virginia Tech's Marching band will perform at halftime.
